Oh wow, this was such a cool session! I found this awesome airbnb almost in my back yard, and I was so inspired by its decor (the dreary February weather outside was a big factor, too) that I invited these two to come help me show the benefits of planning an indoor session documenting a cozy evening at “home.”

Obviously, this location wasn’t their home, but I think this concept could work really well in a couple’s or a family’s actual personal space. How you choose to live and the possessions your choose to surround yourself with say a lot about your personality. Why not include that as part of the story we’re telling about your in your photo session? I’d much rather document you doing real life stuff than in a manufactured setup that says nothing about who you are.
