Extended Family Photo Shoot - Montgomery, AL

💡What a smart idea! 💡

This family contacted us about a photo shoot over a holiday week when they would have some relatives visiting Montgomery from far, far away. Like California far. They hoped to schedule a large family portrait session while everyone was in the same place. I don’t know about you, but I grew up in a different state than all my aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents, and my parents never thought to get a professional portrait done when we had relatives visiting from out of town. I truly hope that the images we created during their session will be treasured mementos for years to come.

So, I’m looking at you, Montgomery, Pike Road, Prattville, and honestly almost anywhere! I have camera equipment and will travel. 😉 Graduations, wedding season, and summer vacations are right around the corner! Let’s get your photo session booked for when you’re expecting company so we can help you create the keepsakes your whole family can enjoy.

Hemingway - Pet Photography, Pike Road, Alabama

What an adventure it was to photography my new friend, Hemingway. This dog embodies the nickname “big baby.” When I first arrived at his house, Hemingway wasn’t too sure why the strange lady was pointing the black box in his direction. And who could blame him? If a stranger of a different species pointed some unfamiliar technology in my direction, I’m sure I’d be more than a little apprehensive, too. 🤣But, after some solid sniffing on his part and some strategic scratching on my part, this gentle giant was ready to be friends. 🐶+👩🏻+📷=💛

Once we got to know each other, Hemingway was full of energy. Despite his size, he’s still a puppy, after all. So, for the next half hour or so, Hemingway’s family and I chased him around his yard and created some really fun images. I enjoyed making them so much, and I hope they will be treasured by his family for years to come.
